You attend the meeting, and Miranda seeks out a pregnancy test

"We need to find a **** store as soon as the meeting is over baby," Miranda whispers to you as you both get off the flight and head to the hotel to quickly drop off your luggage and head to the meeting.

"It'll be alright Miranda, I promise you it will be," you tell her, not really sure of it yourself as you share a kiss with her and head out to the meeting.

"As long as I have you in my life to take care of me, I know it will be," she tells you, squeezing your hand as you walk into the meeting with her, both of you feeling more of a connection than you had ever felt before.

Thankfully, since you and Miranda had the added stress of wondering about if she was pregnant with your child or not, the meeting went well and as soon as you were out of it, Miranda hailed a cab to the nearest **** store.

"Well...now that it's just you and me John...you can be honest," she whispers as she buys the pregnancy test and rushes off with you, storing it in her purse until you get back to your room, "what are you hoping for? Positive or negative?"

"I'm hoping for whatever makes you happy Miranda," you tell her as the cabbie drops you off at the hotel, "but I am prepared to help you handle the situation if the results are not what we want them to be."

"Well...here goes nothing..." she whispers to you back in the room, breaking off the make-out session you were having with her to go take it, leaving both of you on pins and needles.
