You agree to take the A serum

After mulling it over and considering the risks, you decided against your logical self and went with your gut.

"If it will help Benz, I'm willing to be the first person to try the A serum," you announced to both the doctor and to a nervous Benz.

"Thank you, Lexus. This means a lot to me," mouthed Benz as he finally relaxed.

The doctor gave out a soft sigh and smiled at you, "Thank you as well. We were hoping you'd say yes but didn't want to pressure you into a decision that wasn't fully your own."

"So, what happens now?" you ask politely, a bit anxious about what you were getting yourself into.

The doctor gave you a quick nod in acknowledgement before pressing a button on his desk. Within a few seconds, a still fairly disheveled Evan walked into the room.

Evan did a double take upon seeing you but managed to quickly regain his composure and spoke in a highly professional tone, "You called for me, Doctor Stone?"

"Yes, Evan. Lexus and Benz here have volunteered to be injected by the A and B serum respectively. Please help them with the procedure," announced the doctor, pointing to you and Benz individually as he said your names so that you both could be identified.

Evan nodded to the doctor and motioned for you and Benz to follow him, "Lexus, Benz, please follow me to the adjoining room."
