You actually find wearing anything that’s not super girly really disgusting

It’s kind of hard, but you and Gerald working together are able to find the most guy-ish clothes in the women’s section. You barely even look at them, just throwing them into the little basket you got to carry your stuff, then you take them into the changing room.

Stripping out of the clothes you wore to this place, you put on the things you find on top: a pair of blue jeans with a top that’s basically a t-shirt. They definitely feel more like the clothes you wear normally than the kind of stuff you’ve felt on girl’s you’ve dated in the past, so hopefully that means you’re on the right track.

Once it’s all on, you look in the mirror and freeze.

Awful.

Absolutely terrible. You might as well be wearing a garbage bag.

That sudden overwhelming feeling lessens for a second, and you take a breath. Wow. You have never felt that strongly about anything you’ve ever worn in your life. Clearly another side-effect of the app’s changes. You start digging through the other things in your basket, and you realize none of them will look good on you.

The more you think about it, the more you realize you have no way to articulate why exactly these clothes are so hideous. But at the same time, you know, deep in your soul, that you can not be seen wearing them. Annoyed, you put your original clothes back on, which as you look in the mirror now are just as bad as the ones you tried on before, and head out, unsatisfied.

You don’t bother telling Gerald what happened as you hand the nearby attendant all the clothes that will have to go back. You start going through the clothes now, trying to be more discerning. With each blouse, each skirt, you try to picture how you’d look in it, and only put in your basket the ones that make you the happiest.

Soon, you’re back in the changing room, only this time every outfit you put on makes you feel wonderful! You look so good! It’s only after that excitement dies down a little that you realize what all the clothes in the basket have in common. They are all girly as fuck. They’re pinks and other bright colors, they’re soft, they’re stylist. Fighting through how nice you know they look on you, you aren’t sure what to do. If you buy these clothes, the app will definitely make you more Girly. But if you buy the tomboy clothes, there is no way you’ll be able to wear them without hating yourself.
