You Continue On.

Deciding discretion is the better part of valour you quickly get away from the vine and keep walking. Before too long you forget all about the vine you saw earlier and focus instead on your surroundings.

There is definitely a path here, overgrown yes but some time ago this may have had many people on it? It's well defined by the .. well greenery, planted in particular order. The path never stops or ends, but instead well defined.

Still, since it is overgrown though you can't help but brush against the rubber leaves and twigs. You can see some rubber pollen being rubbed in to your robe. And you just can't help avoiding your bare arms coming into contact with it either.

Still more of the rubber pollen drifts down from above and onto your clothing and hair. You grow more concerned as you realise its not just a film of rubber but it is somehow transforming your robe into rubber.

"Not just my robe," you think as you look at your darkening hands.

Still, you push such concerns away and march on, determined to get to a large clearing to get out of here.

Soon though you feel a growing tightness about your hands. Pausing for a moment you look down and realise your hands have had so much pollen come into contact with them you are now sporting some thin but tight fitting rubber gloves!

Looking closer you can see your both hands are completely black and rubberised. In some areas though the rubber has had so much contact with the native greenery the latex has thickened and seems to be forming a pair of thick smooth gloves. Even on a few digits the latex has thickened, making your fingers there very smooth when touching anything.

Fortunately they seem to dissipate at your wrists. You try to peel them off you no amount of pulling at them with your rubberised fingers seems to free your hands.

You walk over to an exposed thick branch and try again. Unfortunately your attempts at removing them by abrasive rubbing against the branch has simple added more pollen to your wrists and extended the gloves to your sleeves.

On the upside, it seems your fingers are now slightly longer, stronger and quite dexterous! But also very smooth.
