You Awaken.

More dreams shift through your unconsciousmind, these are vague and hard to grasp, like sand falling between your fingers. All you do know is they feel familiar and sad, like a memory that you dont want anymore. Soon you awaken with a start, the mermaid is still snoozing happily, arms around you, theres tear streaks around your eyes. Where the dreams so sad you cried, you wonder as you yawn and stretch, your movement waking your partner. She blinks a few times before rubbing her eyes and looking at you a big smile spreads across her face. The events of before you fell asleep the second time flashed in your mind, "hey you spoke" you say outloud, she looks at you lost. "You know when you were riding me, you spoke english", she gave you another quizzical look.

"Come on I know you spoke" she stared, lost in thought and then with a smile said "I love you". You were shocked but replied, "you do speak, where am I, whats going on" you blurt out, heart pounding with excitement for answers. "I love you" she said again, you frowned, "is that ALL you can say" you ask her, "I love you" she says. Theres a urge to just laugh but its burried under frustration, you stand up and look around for a way to go. You turn to her, ready to try and ask her about home, but shes already in the water, waving for you to follow, you shake you head and stand your ground, no drowning today you think.

She kinda shrugs, swims up the bank a little then motions for you to follow, you sigh, you dont have a choice here. So you start to follow her by walking at the waters edge, she stays a little ahead of you. Inland seems to be all jungle, but you swear you spot something blue peaking out far away, you shrug the idea off though. As you walk the sun grows closer to setting, but the mermaid leads you on, shes even started to hum a soothing tune. You cant help but smile at her, sure she kind of molested you, but she seems so sweet and carefree, suddenly she stops and motions for you to join her in the water.

Once again you shake your head no, she seems mad and impainent at your actions. She cross her arms and huffs, she the goes under, only to come back up and motion under the water. Theres obviously something down there she wants you to see but you kinda dont wana go and see, at the same time your gut says to trust her. For whatever reason you jump in and swim up to her, she giggles and lays a soft kiss on your cheek before going under, you blush and follow. Its dark and murky, hard to see you think of surfacing, but her hand grips you and leads you, after about 2 minuets of swimming when you're starting to desire fresh air, you surface in a cave.

You gasp as your lungs fill with air you blink as the water burns your eyes. You start taking in your surroundings, the gave seems to be lit with some form of glowing stone, she points to a rock edge that you can use as a walkway. You gladly step up onto it, the rocks are sharp and poke your feet, still better than the mythic ocean you think. Once more she leads in the water and you follow, you take so many twost and turns you get lost after two rights, a left, a right, and three lefts. This place is a maze, and seems to have no end, but as you think that you turn the corner and gasp at the wide open cavern, with a large pool of water filled with mermaids.
