You *really* need this job...

You decide you probably shouldn't risk your boss finding out you broke the rules first thing on your first day. You turn the fan up as high as it will go, hoping that will provide enough relief for the next six hours.

-Ring ring-

You jump, not expecting the phone to ring.

-Ring ring-

Before you can answer it, the call goes to the answering machine, a voice emerging from the old-fashioned recorder.

"Hello, hello? Welcome to your first night on the job as night guard at Little Red's Family Fun."

You stop actively listening, realizing you have heard something almost exactly like this already. Instead, you turn your focus towards the checklist you were given for things to make sure are in place during your shift. You have already checked off

Cameras. You sit at the computer and switch between each of the different screens, confirming that all of the cameras are working. You check that off.

Fan. Why that's on the list, you have no idea, but you check it off anyway.

You are so focused on your list that you don't notice movement in the camera pulled up on the screen.

You reach the last item on your list: CLOSE THE DOOR

Oh, yeah-- the door, you think to yourself. Wonder why they put so much emphasis on keeping it closed--

You fall silent as turn to see...
