You're kissed

The moment doesn't last long before Melody leans in and kisses you. It was a passionate kiss to which you respond immediately, letting go of her wrists and cupping her face. Melody's arms wrap around you and neither of you break the kiss.

It wasn't until you were completely out of air before you pulled apart.

"What—what about James?" you ask.

Melody shakes her head. "I don't care about James, not like I do you. I couldn't lose you. I can't lose you. I—I love you."

Your face breaks into the widest smile, matching the one on Melody's face. "I love you too."

"Are your parents home?"

Instead of answering, you press your lips back against Melody, your hands feeling up her body.

Melody interrupts you by pulling your shirt over your head.

You pick up Melody and carry her to your room where you fall onto your bed and undress each other. You step back, looking at you best friend naked on your bed. "Wow," is all you can say.

Giggling, Melody pulls you back down on the bed and the two of you share your love for each other falling asleep after.
