“I can’t.” Kim says meekly.

“Oh please Kim no, please do this for me. Please Kim I….” Kim’s mother pleads with her.

“No, I mean I literally can’t. I am willing to do as Ron asks but I can’t move. I tried standing up earlier and my legs gave out on me. I can’t even leave this place if I tried.” Kim explains, summoning up great strength to say each word.

“But if you could you would take Ron up on his offer?” Her mother asks.

“Yes.” Kim says in a whisper.

Kim’s mother opens the door to the cell and, despite her noticeable pain at being naked in such a cold place, enters into Kim’s prison. Without wasting any time Kim’s mother picked up the collar, snapped it around Kim’s neck and hurried out of the room.

Kim didn’t even flinch when the clasp superheated and melted shut, leaving a little scar on her pale neck.

“Guard Drone, come here quickly.”

“**** 7-1-3 what is the nature of the emergency?” The tinny voice of the drone asked as it hovered quickly towards Kim’s cell.

“Overlord Ronald’s bride has decided to take him up on his offer. Remove her immediately from this cell and take her to Ronald’s bed chambers. You will also alert the medic teams to meet us there.”

The drone’s red eye flashed, scanning the inside of the cell.

“Input confirmed as true. Executing orders. Medical team has been alerted.” The drone stated as it extended its metal arms, picked Kim up and carried her towards Ron’s master bedroom.

“You’re going to be okay Kimmy cub, you’re going to be okay.” Kim’s mother repeated over and over as she followed as quickly as she could behind the drone.
