Barbara was offended by how casually Riddler brought up her paralysis but glad she’d be able to pee now. She allowed herself to be untied and moved back to her wheelchair. They pushed her into the bathroom. As expected, it was run down and dirty but at least appeared to have running water.

“So, uh, need me to set you down on the seat?” The thug who escorted her asked.

“I live alone, I’ve learned how to use the toilet by myself. Just wait outside.”

“Alright, but if you try to escape I am not afraid to beat your naked little ass. Unless ya like that, slut.”

Barbara rolled her eyes. “Just give me some privacy, Romeo.”

The thug grunted and shut the door behind Barbara. She wheeled herself over to the toilet and maneuvered herself onto the toilet seat. Although she had no feeling in her legs, she could still tell how grimy it was. Barbara closed her eyes and tried to imagine a much nicer bathroom as she started peeing.

The one good about her current situation was that she had solitude at the moment. And with how lenient Riddler had been treating her, Barbara figured she’d be able to escape within a day. She finished peeing and used a piece of toilet paper to dry off her genitals.

“Hey, lady! You done in there!”

“Yeah, I’m on my way!” Barbara flushed the toilet and began maneuvering herself over to her wheelchair. She cursed under her breath. Nothing about her situation was good but she realized she had to make the best of it. Barbara knew she’d have to make the best of whatever came next.
