You roll over onto your back and glare at him, doubting his words. It would be easy for him to lie and it would explain a lot. He had said that he was late because he was working at the lab, but it would make a lot more sense if he had been late because he had been prepping for this. "Oh really?" you ask, voice sarcastic.

"Yes!" he says, voice panicked, "I don't understand how this happened! I literally got these condoms today!"

"Give me the box." you say, wanting to check for yourself. It shouldn't be too hard to see if there were holes poked in them.

He gives them to you without hesitation. As you look through them, you feel the anger rising. All of them have holes in them!

But then you see a note tucked away amongst them. You quickly open it and your anger switches from Ross to his father. You hand him the note. On it are the words: 'You had your chance to do this willingly. Now you have **** but to be a father.'

You can see the fire light up in Ross' eyes as he reads the note, but it dims as soon as he lies eyes on you. "God, I'm so sorry." he says, "I honestly had no clue. I thought he had dropped them off as a joke today..."

"It's alright." you say, sitting up, "No, scratch that. This isn't alright. But you aren't at fault here. I'm not mad at you. Who knows, maybe I won't catch..."

The two of you akwardly look anywhere but at each other for a while. "If... If you do come up pregnant, I'll take care of it." he says, "And you, if you still want to take a chance on us."

"Like I'm giving up on you so easy." you say, "But we've got to come up with a gameplan... And I need to figure out if my father was in on this as well."
