You decided Liara may have had a point, so you decided to tag along, if only just to clear your head and get a break from work. Before the Normandy docked, you made your way to the CIC, passing Samantha Traynor, as you made your way to the cockpit.

"Five minutes 'til docking at the Citadel, Commander." said your pilot, Jeff "Joker" Moreau, as the door swished closed behind you. Ever since you returned to the Normandy, there was a palpable tension between the two of you. You decided that now was the time to address it.

"Joker, is there some sort of problem you have with me?" you asked. He froze for a moment before going back to controlling the ship. He didn't respond so you chose to keep pushing him. "Ever since I got back, it's been obvious that you've been avoiding me and I want to know why."

"I don't know what you're talking about, Commander."

"Don't give me that bullshit, Moreau. How the hell am I supposed to command this ship if my own damn pilot won't even look me in the eye?"

Joker said nothing, and just continued to dock the ship. Once docked, he swiveled around in his chair and looked at you darkly. "If you want to know so bad, why don't you meet me at your apartment?"
