Chapter 6
by Suckersoprano
Follow that ambulance?
Yes.
In Dago’s experience, things didn’t just happen for just any reason. Last time he’d helped someone into an ambulance, he ended up inviting them back to the Order. Vida was cool, too, so it had been a win-win situation. If this was anything like pulling Vida out of a car, that meant he had to check up on this guy. He might have a broken seal, and if he let that go, Marian would have his balls on a platter.
Dago shot a glance around the mess of patrol cars and saw that no one else wanted to talk to him. He sped off, following the ambulance with ease. Once inside the hospital, all it took was some carefully placed glamour and hypnotism and he knew where the man was going to be put once he went through a blood transfusion and got all patched up. When Dago made his way over there, to his surprise, the man was already awake and was sitting up in bed. He looked a little annoyed, more than in pain. There were a few doctors around him, trying to get information out of him, but all he could do was irately respond. There was definitely something magical going on here.
Dago quickly cleared out the doctors with some hypnotism. The man stared at him for a long moment, trying to figure out what the hell he was doing in here.
“If you’re here to barber about how I’m on the nut, you can close your head and dangle right now, pal,” the man said, crossly.
Dago wasn’t exactly sure what the hell the man was talking about, but he got the sense that it wasn’t positive, “That’s not really polite. I didn’t have to help you out back there when you were bleeding out.”
How does the man react?
