Chapter 7

Is Dago in front?
Yes
Dago was herded in with the rest of the new slaves. They were guided into a small room with a single door and taken back out one by one. Dago couldn’t hear what they were doing, aside from some begging and screaming, but he was more worried about the possibilities. There wasn’t anyway out of the room, except that one door. Finally, it was his turn and he was dragged out of the room and into another one. He was **** onto his knees in front of a chair with the same man who he’d run into initially.
“As part of processing, it’s vital that we know all we can about our slaves, to better fit them with a potential buyer,” he said, crossing his leg over the other, “We’re going to ask you a series of questions and it’s in your best interest to answer to the best of your ability.”
Dago didn’t say anything, but glared up at the man in the chair. He was suddenly prodded with something in the back that sent pain shooting up his spine. He grimaced and winced, but still didn’t say anything.
Does he lie?
