Dago moved around the bookcase to see who was making the noise. It was Simon, a very short and quiet man who had the displeasure of having to deal with Dago when it was necessary to feed. Dago felt a little bad about that day, but he’d managed to escape it without hurting the man.

It appeared that Simon had fallen asleep on one of the couches in the main library. He was making very small noises, like he was having a nightmare while dreaming. His face was contorted into something that was akin to either fear or **** displeasure.

“No, please leave me alone,” Simon muttered, talking in his sleep.

Dago couldn’t remember if it was bad luck to wake someone while they were having a bad dream. Or was that sleepwalking?
