Bill nodded, although he seemed almost...disappointed? "He hasn't been the same since your aunt passed on, that's for sure."
Unwrapping the towel, Jason lifted out the first of what appeared to be a roast beef sandwich, "He always said it felt like he's soldiering on as the family falls around him," Jason said quietly. "I think I'm the only one left."
"Yeah," Bill said quietly.
"Um... thanks again for the delivery," Jason said. "I'll get moving."
"Do you want a lift back?" Bill asked, one hand on the tractor.
