Yes, you can't turn down good (or any) sex

Okay, you'd intended to be a real asshole... first fucking her and then dumping her. But... come on, that was really good sex. Or at least a close approximation to really good sex. Far better than you ever got from Amber, anyway although, from the looks of it, you suspect Bentham got better sex from Amber than you ever did so maybe it wasn't a lack on her part. Anyway, you're not going to piss away this. Of course, there's also the hot daughter. If you piss off Carol, your chances of ever making it with the blonde, especially after she was so grateful to you for helping her mom.

"Listen," you say after you've recuperated a bit from your sex, "I'm excited about doing the streaming but I've been doing some research. Do you know how many true crime podcasts and stream series are out there? The answer is a zillion. And, no offense, but a lot of them have girls on that are almost as hot as you are. We've got to make ourselves special."

"I've got some cases we could consider." "Send me the info," you say. "I've got some ideas too. Some conspiracy theory concepts that just might hold enough interest to keep viewers coming back for more." As in, you might be able to tie this into Amber's strange phone call and the unexpected job offer from MicroStuff. Not that you're going to blurt that out to Carol before you have things more nailed down.

"Conspiracy theories are streaming kryptonite," she warns you. "And I'm not interested in chasing stories of Democrats drinking baby-blood."

"Yeah, agreed," you say. "Nothing like that."

"Fine. Let me tell you about the cases I've been working on."

She bores you for the next hour with detailed rundowns on two missing blondes from the 1980s. The girls would have been old enough to be your mom if they'd lived but you're pretty sure they ended up in landfills or shallow graves somewhere. Still, you agreed to do this and, if your conspiracy theories don't go anywhere, it's a small price to pay for getting all the sex you need... and an in with the daughter.

"I wish you could spend the night," Carol says when she finally winds down. "But Amy will be back soon and... well, as you can see, we only have one bedroom."

"Yeah, got it. Keep working on those cases and I'll follow up on the conspiracy theory angle. And keep working on the sexy angle. You're doing great so far."

"You." She punches you on the arm. "Sometimes I think you're just humoring me so you can get laid."

You try a laugh.

"Yeah, I know. I'm not that hot."

"Hey, you're definitely hot enough. But I need to be successful with my streams. I can't afford to mess around."

True... even if you might be doing what you can't afford.
