Yes, time to talk

Jenny returns with the bottles and hands you one. Then she sits down next to you and gives you a quick kiss.

“I heard some noises down there,” you say and open your bottle, “has something happened?”

“Oh, nothing serious,” Jenny answers, "the bullies made this noise when they … stumbled over their own feet. Nothing that we need to care about.”

“Fine by me,” you say but secretly know that there is more then she told you, “well then let's talk. First I would like to know how your father reacted to me knowing your secret.”

“He threw me out, so I have to live the in the forest from now on,” says a little sarcastic, “well, except some sweet guy has mercy with me and adopts me as his pet. Are pets allowed in here?”

“I'm afraid not and I can't afford to feed you,” you answer, “so I have to break up with you. I wish you a good live with the hunters and deers. And how does he think really?”

“He was furious,” Jenny admits, “even before he didn't liked me going out with you. Not only because I'm his little girl. But he is relieved that he hasn't to lie to you anymore and he is also happy that you didn't broke my heart. We have been together so long he was sure I wouldn't go insane the day you brake up with me. Since I'm a werewolf he is always worried about me. And for good reason. Werewolves have many enemies. And If I'm not absolutely careful I could kill somebody or infect him with my curse. My victim would be doomed to live a similar live as me. With the exception that I have a loving father and a boyfriend. Werewolves normally don't have such relationships. Most parents of werewolves get killed. Either by the werewolf that had bitten their child or by the child itself. And the ones who live often abandon their child. Like my mother did.”

“Sounds terrible,” you mumble, “but isn't it possible to create safe zones for friends and family. When they know about your curse they could work on it together.”

“That would be grate but it is forbidden to revel our hidden nature to strangers and sadly most boys and girls are not willing to wait for so long like you did,” Jenny answers, “and to be honest who would believe us. By night there is a high chance of killing our loved ones. And by day we look like normal people. Also I'm afraid too many people would be happy to get rid of us to make sure werewolves extinct. A few normal people as casualties would be a minor price to end the plague. Well at least I think our enemies believe this. I'm hurt happy if I don't hurt anyone.”

“You said werewolves have enemies,” you remember, “who? And why?”

“On top of the list are vampires,” Jenny explains, “and please spare me stupid jokes about Dracula and Twilight. Vampires are humans that have survived a vampire attack. Unlike us werewolves they keep their personality by night. So every time a vampire attacks a human he decides to do this and wanted to hurt or **** his victim.”

“I see,” you answer, “and why do they hate you?”

“I can only guess,” Jenny admits, “maybe because we both are creatures of the night but werewolves can at last live a normal live by daylight without being turned in a pile of ash. Maybe they are jealous about this but I don't believe it. They can fly, are very fast, strong and they have full control over their actions. I assume they just don't want us as rivals. In direct combat we are stronger. But as I said we are animals and can't work precise.”

“Ever killed a vampire?” you ask unsure, “I mean … accidentally?”

“No but my father and I are prepared to at least keep them at distance,” Jenny answers, “garlic and crosses do nothing but there are mixtures of oils and herbs that are toxic for them. And they burn very fast in the sun. Faster then I when I touch silver. Well I never saw it to be honest. Only heard of it.”

“Any other enemies I will get nightmares from?” you ask, “like dragons? Daemons? Unicorns?”

“Well there are gargoyles,” Jenny admits, “but they are rare. Creatures made of stone which can walk by night and kill every poor soul that comes across them. By day they are just normal statues. I never met one but I heard they are not really intelligent. Just monsters. They also don't need to eat. No idea why they hunt other living creatures. A real threat are humans.”

“Humans?” you ask surprised, “like me?”

“There is a organization called “Neo Inquisition”,” Jenny, “humans who know about the magic world and hunt everything they believe is dangerous. I understand that there are huge threats among vampires, werewolves and gargoyles but these guys are fanatics. They pun innocents in danger just to get rid of my kind. If they find out who I am they will kill me, my father and maybe even you just to make sure no werewolf survives.”

“Are there a few nice creatures too?” you ask, “or are there only thing that want to kill and eat me?”

“The fairies are friendly,” Jenny says happy, “small people with wings and clothes made of leafs and grass. They are barely as big as a human hand and love the nature. I have a good friend among them in the forest where you meet my other personality. She keeps me company in the nights I can control myself. And she is so small that it's absolutely impossible for you to cheat on me with her.”

“Sweet,” you comment “when do I meet her?”

“If you want I can introduce you to her,” Jenny offers, “how about in two days. We could meet after school and go to the forest to meet her.”

“I could think of a few other things we could do aloe in a forest,” you whisper and kiss Jenny gentle, “want to make your faerie-friend a little jealous?”

“You are mean,” Jenny says laughing and kisses you back, “have you anything else in mind before I go? Maybe some naughty thoughts?”
