Miraculously, Bran is able to wrap his hand around a ledge after about 20 feet of falling. His body jolts to a stop, the impact almost making him lose his grip. Bran's heart is pounding, his mind not believing what just happened.
I just fucked the Queen, Bran thought to himself. And Jaime Lannister tried to kill me!
Still in shock, Bran looked up, hoping the decorated Knight didn't notice his quick save. Lucky for Bran, he didn't seem to. Bran could hear Cersei yelling at her brother, though. Apparently, she wasn't very happy with her lover. That was another thing that shocked Bran. The Queen was fucking her brother! This was huge! If they could do it, then maybe Arya and him had a chance!
Not wanting to run into Jaime again, Bran quickly scurries down the tower. Summer is waiting for him at the bottom, completely oblivious to the fact that Bran just almost died. Wasting no time, Bran ran away from the tower, Summer following close behind. Once they were a safe distance away, Bran stopped to catch his breath.
Bran considered all his options. He could tell his father about what just happened. He would believe his son, Bran was sure. However, was that really what Bran wanted to happen? If this was discovered, it could prevent Bran from going south, and then he might never become a knight.
Besides, it was Jaime that pushed him off the ledge, not Cersei. She'd been... very, very, very nice to him, and Ned Stark had always taught his sons to be honorable. It wouldn't be very honorable to stab her in the back like this. Plus, Bran's little foray with the Queen might get out, and that could mean bad news for Bran. Finally, it would be a bit hypocritical, since Bran was fooling around with his sister. No, Bran would keep this incestuous secret.
His mind made up, Bran heard the dinner bell ringing. Parting ways with Summer, Bran made his way to dinner.
