Yes, but someone has to go now

I was just about to get up and find out what was going on but right before I could he came back down the hall. He took a deep breath and sat back down.

"Ahhhh, much better." He reached over, grabbed his beer and took another swig. After a few moments, someone else stood up, stretched and said now he had to go. He stepped over the leg of the person next to him and headed down the hall in the same direction my other friend just left from.

Once again it took a few minutes longer than you'd think but after a while he came back. I sat back in my chair and tried not to think too much into it. But something had to be up now that as soon as he came back another left right after.
