Chapter 14 by Northfield Northfield

Does she take the bait?

Yes, back to the assembly hall

With the weight of the dare pressing on her, Lia stepped back into the stairwell, feeling a mix of dread and excitement. The hallways were alive with the sound of students' chatter and footsteps, the distant thump of music setting the stage for the impending festivities. She clutched the crumpled note tightly, her eyes scanning the walls for any hint of her next move.

Moving swiftly yet carefully, she navigated the crowded hallways, her body tense with fear of being seen. She ducked into bathroom stalls, peered around corners, and slithered along the edges of the walls. The warmth of the day had made her skin glisten, and she felt every bead of sweat that trickled down her spine. The air was thick with the scent of anticipation.

Lia's eyes darted around, searching for any familiar face that could lead her to the DJ booth without being caught. Rachel had mentioned a back entrance to the assembly hall, a shortcut that would allow her to avoid the crowded main doors. The knowledge of this secret passage gave her a glimmer of hope.

Her bare feet padded quietly against the floor, her heart racing in her chest as she approached the hall. The music grew louder, the bass vibrating through her body. She spotted the door, a side entrance that was often overlooked. It was unlocked, and she slipped inside, the cool darkness of the hall enveloping her like a cloak.

Backstage, a group of her female classmates awaited. She quickly spotted Taylor and her friends, their faces lit up with excitement and mischief. And there they were, her clothes, neatly folded on a chair, within arm's reach. But Lia knew better than to think she could simply take them and be done with it.

Taylor noticed her first, her eyes glinting with amusement as she took in Lia's naked state. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the dare champion herself," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I knew you'd make it this far, Lia. But I'm afraid you're not quite done yet."

Taylor stepped forward, holding up the skimpy outfit that Lia had worn on the roof. "You see, we have rules. And when you put on this little number," she waved the flimsy fabric, "you cheated. So, as a penalty, we've decided to extend the dare."

The crowd of onlookers, Rachel included, gasped in surprise and anticipation. The thrill of the chase was not over yet. The humiliation Lia felt was palpable, her cheeks flaming redder than the sunburn she'd likely get from her time on the roof. "What do you mean?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

"You weren't allowed to put on any spare clothes, Lia. As punishment, we've extended your dare a little. And oh... looks like the party will start in 25 minutes."

Lia's eyes widened in horror as she realized she had fallen for their trick. She clutched the crumpled note in her hand, her knuckles white with tension. "What do I have to do now?" she asked, her voice shaking.

Taylor's grin grew wider, her eyes sparkling with malicious glee. "Don't worry, we've got something extra special for you," she said, holding up a piece of paper. "Your next clue is taped to the outside entrance of the assembly hall."

The group of girls around her erupted into giggles. Rachel looked torn, a mix of excitement and concern etched on her features. She leaned in and whispered to Lia, "You can do this, I know you can. Just remember, it's all in good fun."

Does she accept the continued humiliation?
