Aryn nodded and mumbled from behind the gag,

"Yhesh, Mashther" she nodded again for good measure. Her master sighed and unlatched the ball gag. He smiled and asked,

"Do you believe in blood magic?"

Aryn was taken aback, to practice blood magic was to sin against the gods. "I know it exists, but I would never..."

"Well... I'm afraid you no longer have a choice. You are no longer of the lands because as of this moment..." He pulled out a dagger and, before she could react, slit both his palm and hers. He locked their fingers together, blending their blood. He smiled down at her and continued, "You belong to me..."

He kept their fingers interlocked but began a new phrase.

"Aryn of Tienyl, I bind you to me. Whether willingly or not, you will obey me. Our bloods are one and I, Gavius Euyren of Kuniel, am your keeper, master and lover until you are willed to die by the hand of the goddess." He looked towards the ceiling as both Aryn and he felt a ripple of warmth and chill wash through them.

He removed his hand and stood to find bandages. Aryn was stunned, these ties couldn't be real! The king returned, his hand bandaged and set to work on fixing hers. Though it stung, she was grateful for him helping her. It couldn't be that bad, she was going to live in a palace after all.

As if sensing her thoughts, Gavius asked, "I'll assume you have many questions..." he looked at her face, "You can talk freely."
