Yes, Lil is ready.

Lil's kisses were passionate and frantic as she pressed Billy Royce back against her bedroom wall.

"Lil! Lil?" Billy said between kisses, "are you sure about this?"

Lil's hands moved down to his chest and grabbed handfuls of his T-shirt, kneading and tugging.

Billy moved his face to the side, along Lil's cheek. "Slow down, girl, slow down," he said.

"Unnnh," Lil protested wordlessly.

"Tell you a secret," Billy said.

Lil relaxed and snuggled up, wrapping her arms around him as they stood against the wall.

Billy ran his fingers through her golden hair. "I think I've already got a song cooking about you," he said.

Lil swayed on her feet. "Oh?"

"They don't always turn into songs," Billy said. "But I think this one will."

Lil held on tight. "You gonna write a song about my mom?" she said.

"Already have," Billy said.

"Is it, will it, have I heard it already?" Lil asked.

Billy laughed. "Wanted to sing it for her first. Maybe it'll never see the light of day."

Lil giggled. "Is it about her butt?" she said.

Billy bellowed out a loud laugh. "Now don't go giving me more ideas, I thought I had it finished."

Lil laughed hard. Her face flushed and tears ran from the corners of her eyes.

"Just wanted to let you know about what you're getting into, here," Billy said. "Travelin' singer, lovin' and leavin', making up songs about his life."

Lil fixed his eyes with her bright blue ones. "But you didn't leave, you came back."

Billy looked back. "Foxed me there, you did," he said. He grinned. "Unreliable me, sneaking round the back door."

"Front door."

"You won't let me get away with anything," Billy said.

"Yes," Lil said.

"Yes what, Lil?" Billy said.

"Yes, I'm ready, Billy," Lillian said. "How about you?"

Billy scratched behind his ear and ran a hand through his long dark hair. "Well, I did just get off the road."
