Yamanaka Ino

Normally, she was never one to indulge her time with others, unless it involved Sasuke-kun. At best, she would have some form of challenge with Forehead Girl, Sakura...even then, it was only to compete and trade insults. However, seeing as how today she had to help early with the flower shop, Ino happened to pass by Naruto's apartment.

Of course, having a personal invite from the only boy that could compete with Sasuke-kun was a big confidence booster and incentive to stop by. It also meant her status among the girls would elevate, if she was constantly seen around the blond Uzumaki and raven-haired Uchiha.

"For somebody who is so good at school, you'd think he'd have a better home." she sighed, climbimg up the stairs that lead to the boy's apartment. The walls were in minor direpair, and she would spot the occassional graffiti tag outlining the paint.

Did he really live in this dump? She'd never been to his place before, at least not this close, but she was sure the address was correct...

Knocking on the door, Ino tapped her foot as she awaited a response. From within, she could hear a slidimg of a chair and footsteps headed in her direction. Suddemly remembering that she was about to meet one of the ace students, she widened her eyes in surprise and quickly attwmpted to style her hair and make herself seem presentable.

"Ino? Hey, you're here!" smiled the familiar blond, as he swung the door open and greeted her. Yamanaka, however, fslt a blush crep along her face as she spotted his shirtless body. All he was wearing were a pair of grey shorts and white socks!

Had he just awoken? Were those his pajamas?

"Yo-you, er, I came to wa-walk with you for class, er, the exams!" she stuttered. While she was by no means entirely innocent, the fact that she had just caught ANY boy half-naked was a shock. The fact that Naruto was also a shinobi-in-training, also meant that he would be slightly more fit the most boys.

Given his quirky attitude, sense of humor and body...Ino was willing to say that if not for Sasuke; Naruto would be a runaway for most wanted im the Academy.

"Well, come in! I was eating breakfast before I got changed! Do you wnat anything?" he replied, scooting to the side so she could enter. The Yamanaka nodded, and walked on, mildly surprised as she did.

Despite the external look, she found his home to be rather organizex; a few scrolls and textbooms littered his bedroom, but that was mostly it.

"So, you ready? For the tests, Ino? I'm still going to try to come in first place! And Sasuke is going to be the one who calls it out for me!"

Ino chuckled, silently comparing the blond and Sasuke to herself and Sakura. However, the question did play on her mind.
