"You flatter me," you admit politely, offering a slight smile to her. Jerking to more alertness for a moment, you suggest, "Ah, may I stay for a bit? I've some time before I'm supposed to arrive at my friend's home." It's a lie, however you are well aware of how strong a woman Roz is. The thought of making her wait an hour or two doesn't weigh too heavily on you.

"Oh? Of course, if you think it won't run too deeply into your schedule. Would you mind letting out your cats while I get my tools from the yard?" she asks you, a bit rushed to head out the door. You mutter a soft word of compliance as she lightly brushes against your shoulder to walk outside. You mentally scold yourself for not moving out of the way even though you're well aware of her lack of concern for it.

You leisurely make your way to the carriers, squatting down in front of them to unzip them one by one. "I suppose we won't be separated for as long now," you murmur to the cats, but more so yourself. They neglect to even acknowledge you as they exit their confinements and are more interested in the foreign environment. You've never brought them here before, never had any reason too when you've also never been inside of Jasmine's house either. While the two of you have a nice friendship, it never extended very far. You have a weird feeling that your visit today may cause that to change.

Once the cats have completely abandoned you, you zip the carriers back up and politely sit down on the sofa. It's pleasantly soft, and you feel a little guilty disrupting the end pillow closest to you so you take care to fix it. You await her return patiently.
