Robby used the key to enter the world of the Xena:Warrior Princess television show. He was now in ancient Greece that looked surprisingly like it was part of New Zealand.

Right at that moment he was in the country side, just before Xena and her side kick Gabrielle was do to show up. Dressed in his modern day era clothing. That might just make him out of place.

He needed to blend into the show more so he used the power of the key transformed into something a peasant from the show might wear.
