Wrap it up

As the two of you laid in bed together, you ask Bai, "Do you think your parents will approve of us being a couple? After all we've been through, especially since they took you away from me."

"I hope so. But I really want to see them again, Ba." Bai replied with a small smile.

"Then I promise you...no one is ever gonna take you away from me again. You'll be safe now, Bai." you tell her with a smile.

Bai smiled back before you embraced her and gave her a sweet kiss before both of you eventually fell asleep in each others' arms.

Starting the day after, Xiahou Ba and Ji Bai's friendship now turned into a romance between the two young warriors. In addition, it seemed as though they would look to the future with Wei...or did they?

When Ba and Bai fought against Wei, before they pledged to Shu, they believed that it felt so wrong fighting for a different kingdom, yet it felt right for them to do so as well. In the end, they became part of Shu, and Bai was given the chance to go undercover in now Jin-dynasty Wei, planning to break down the Sima family's ties with their officers by becoming Sima Shi's student in tutoring sessions.

Bai's parents eventually returned to their daughter, and their reunion was a happy and peaceful one. In addition, she and Ba would continue to strengthen their love for one another every day, every night, now and forever.
