Wrap it up

As you and Xiu basked in the afterglow, she looked up towards you and asked, "So, Hui...you'll let me join you rebel against Sima Zhao? I feel as though I owe the Sima family for being their bodyguard. I even owed Deng Ai, becaused he was my teacher, as well."

You give her a small smile and reply, "Well, yes, I suppose so. Now...about what you said about falling in love with me..."

"Did you feel the same way?" Xiu asked, and you let out a small chuckle.

"I think you just read my mind." you tell her before kissing Xiu deeply, and as you hold her in your arms, she smiled before she eventually fell asleep. You also followed suit, knowing you were quite tired from what happened.

The morning after, the members of Wei were having their usual breakfast, when Hua Xiu made a startling revelation: She claimed she fought for virtue and said that Sima Zhao was the cause of the **** of Zhuge Dan and the suicide of Yan Qing.

Of course, Zhong Hui took matters in his own hands and he and Xiu escaped with their lives. Now wanted by the Jin dynasty Wei as traitors, with the exception of Deng Ai in Xiu's case, since he was the only one that was dismayed by her betrayal, they both sided with Shu, becoming friends with Jiang Wei and Ming Jujie.

One night, Hui and Xiu were greeted by the ghosts of Qing and Dan, respectively. Hui ended up apologizing for all of his teasing towards Qing, and all was forgiven, while Dan told Xiu it wasn't her fault for executing him.

Xiu then explained her family troubles to Hui, stating that her father, Hua Lin, wanted her to be a warrior, while her mother, Yan Xi, wanted her to become a proper lady. Despite becoming an assassin thanks to her father, she was confused when her parents constantly argued and went their separate ways.

Occasionally, she would be visited by either one of them, just like the time when she encountered Lin. She knew that she would convince her parents to rekindle their relationship...would they?

And when they finally decided to settle the score with Zhao, Xiu believed she was grateful for being his family's personal bodyguard, and mourned his ****. However, her spirits were lifted when her father, Hua Lin, told her that Wei have already crumbled and that Shu, as well as Wu, would continue to fight for glory.

True to their daughter's word, Lin and Xi eventually got back together again, and as confident as ever, Hui even took the opportunity to tell Xiu about the night they shared together, saying that he really meant it when asked that he loved her. Of course, he ended up acting compassionate and protective towards her, and for once not act like a stuck up spoiled prince.
