Worryingly normal...

You're more nervous than you'd like to admit going into class the next day...but you reassure yourself that Miss Locke can't do much to you in front of a classroom of people.

You take your seat like normal and try not to make eye contact with your teacher, all while thinking about how to bring up the subject of getting back your lost phone.

The few times you peek at your teacher, you can't read her expression, but you can somehow tell she's got something planned...the fact that she's not calling on you more than normal or finding excuses in class to get you into trouble makes you sure that she's biding her time and being patient in preparation for something much more serious.

Finally, the day ends, and you're completely on edge now trying to predict what Miss Locke is planning as the classroom empties out, you hear Miss Locke call to you in a calm voice.

"You left your phone behind yesterday. Come with me to the staff room to collect it."

You swallow, realizing you'll probably be alone with her if you listen. You do need to get your phone back though, and if you run, you'll still have to deal with Miss Locke in class tomorrow...
