Chapter 3
by Greyman
Do you work for a bad guy or a bad girl?
Working with a Big Bad Evil Guy.
John thought working for the bad guys would have some perks. For one, the good guys rarely put villains' sidekicks in **** traps or such, and a villain was likely to bust a good sidekick out of jail.
While working with a leather clad femme fatal had its obvious attractions, it would soon become frustrating. It could also get very dangerous if he made the wrong move. A super-villainess just does not sue against sexual harassment.
"Alright, team me up with a super-villain." There was always the possibility of getting some action from damsels in distress. Or at least copping a feel during the tie up.
"Very well, Mr. Doe. Now we come to the matter of super-powers. Do you have years of martial arts training or military experience needed to use gadgets and power suits? Are you a mutant or otherwise gifted with your own powers? Or do you need to be put in touch with a power broker?"
"The... what now?"
"A power broker," the secretary replied. "It's just as it sounds; someone who will grant you super powers for a fee. It's expensive, but you can take out a loan and repay it with interest."
"I see," John told her. "Well, then the answer is:...."
Which power source?
