Chapter 21 by robyna

What should you do next?

Work on a language framework

You get out your PC and start taking notes.

If characters within the simulation are able to interact with the simulation, there'd have to be a mechanism for communication and a language.

You're pretty sure there aren't any special computers tied into the simulation program so finding a command line will be tough. For now, you decide to assume that the communication medium will be spoken word... possibly with some gestures or other visual cues. That is consistent with the notion of magic words that's common to fantasy, religion, and prosperity theology. Even if it ends up not working, at least it's interesting and may attract some viewers to your channel.

So you've got:

  1. Spoken words
  2. Possible hand gestures.

Now you need a language.

And, pretty clearly, the language is mathematics. Mathematics is at the basis of all computer languages and it's also at the basis of the universe. So much so that there's an entire field of physics called "digital physics" which you discover once you start doing a little search engine work. According to digital physics, the universe is a mathematical construct... which is completely consistent with the simulation theory.

But just saying the language is not enough. Sort of like saying a computer language is based on math. That's true but not particularly helpful if you want to create a word processor, for example. You'll need to do a lot more work.

Then there's the whole Enochian thing. Is that a massive detour or is there actually a connection?

An hour later, you haven't made much more progress and you're definitely ready for something else.

What's next?
