Work gets in the way

Kerry uses the Thieves' Highway across the top of the roofs which is fast but quiet. Part of the trick is getting places without alerting anybody you're there. Kerry came to a house that was one story higher than the one she was currently standing on.

At the corner of the building there was a bar sticking up through the roof. All she had to do was lasso it and climb up. She got her rope and started swinging it. Then she noticed she was standing outside a window and it was getting light inside the room.

Kerry dropped and lay flat on the roof.

Inside the room she saw a door open and a man with a lamp stepped in. He then closed and locked the door. He opened a safe built to look like the wall, and put a few coins in a chest hidden there. He then closed the wall and left.

Being a thief she knew she had to rob this guy.

She stayed where she was for over an hour before standing up and throwing the rope. She swung over to the window and got it open. She quickly found the latch to open the wall safe and helped herself to the treasure. A pouch full of gold, a matching pair of pearl handled daggers, a gold chain which she threaded with a dozen rings, a pearl neck lace, several nipple rings and a couple clit studs.

Then she left.
