Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman was met by her mother Queen Hippolyta as soon as she walked off the jet.

"Diana, my daughter! So lovely to see you." She exclaimed and hugged her daughter.

Wonder Woman, or Princess Diana as she was called her, smiled and returned the embrace. "It's always good to be home mom."

The women chatted as they walked towards the palace. Diana told her of her recent battles with the Justice League and the background of the criminals.

"Only four new slaves though?" Hippolyta asked sadly.

"Three" Diana corrected, "Harold is a spy."

Her mother nodded solemnly. "Is this a result of our efforts. Are men getting better now?"

Diana paused in thought for a moment. Then she said "As a whole a little. But they're more people every day. There are too many criminals now for me and the other heros to keep up with. I lack the time and resources to collect more then the minimum quota."

Hippolyta smiled. "Ah, well then you'll definitely like the news I'm going to share at the induction ceremony. You have been overtasked for far too long. I'll be announcing a competition. The winners will be assigned to join you in the world as a team. You will lead them and assign them as you see fit."

"Oh mother that's great news! The world needs more Amazons in it!"

Her mother smiled "now it will take some time before it's all done. At least another few months. Do you think you can handle a few more trips on your own."

Diana smiled "of course mother."

The pair finished their discussion on more casual notes as they arrived at the palace. There they got dressed for their upcoming ceremony at the Palace Square and departed arm in arm, both smiling gleefully.
