Wild Child.

You look at your aunt as she drones on and on about the party your uncle is throwing at a bar in the City. It seems it was for one of his employees. "Look Auntie, why should I go there? I mean it sounds boring."

You aunt sighs, "Look, I'm not asking you to stay. Just stop in and say hello. I actually think he wants you to meet this guy he's throwing the party for. Seems he thinks you could show him a good time. He needs a friend or something."

"What now I'm getting hooked up to my uncle's employees?" You ask incredulously.

"Hook up no? It's more like he thinks this guy is too busy to have fun, trying to make to big of an impression, or something. That he doesn't have too many friends in the first place and he thinks he could use some fun. Think of it as a good deed!"

You sigh. You don't really want to go to this party, but at the same time you can't think of a credible reason to not go. You didn't really have any plans for the night. Not that you ever really plan anything out, living life second to second. Ah, what the hell, why not?
