Why not I don't have anything better to do

Sure I think as I really got nothing else to do and getting the chance to talk to someone I admire can be an interesting evening. Who knows maybe it will be a real fun evening even? In my fantasies it will be as regardless of what happens tonight, I will alter the events of the night to my heart's content.

I walk up to her and join in the circle of people standing around talking. They are talking about some sport stuff and I'm not the least bit interested and neither is Shoe.

Someone asks me what team I'm on and I'm totally honest that I got no clue. As I say this I look over to Shoe and take another sip on my drink. She looks at me and does the same.

Oh I got a connection! The guys keep talking and Shoe moved away and appears behind me instead. Asking if I want to go somewhere where we could talk about something else.
