White’s King frowned as he realized the troublesome situation he had been placed in: if the Black whore-queen were to overcome his wife’s Bishop, she would threaten him with Check. White’s controller had clearly also decided this was unacceptable, because the next order that came down was “Castle, kingside”.
Grateful for the protection, the King ducked behind his Rook, which was now protecting the Bishop as well. Its crew stared out angrily at the Black Queen, eager to avenge her capture of their counterpart and take her body for themselves.
“Coward,” the Queen snarled at him from across the rank. “Stop hiding behind your pathetic excuses for men and face me like a true warrior!”
The White pieces jeered and hissed at her, but their King gave no reply as Black prepared to move.
