Where's Jane?!

You wake up and feel the lovely warm body next to you "good morning Jane" you say. Wait, this doesn't feel like Jane, the girl next to you isn't the right size at all. You gasp, fuck, this is Ashley not Jane! This is bad, really bad, you just hope Jane hasn't noticed, or if she has, that she'll let you explain it and say sorry to her.

You quickly crawl out of the tent, pulling your disheveled clothes on and looking around. You don't see Jane outside. Phew, she slept in for once, or so you think before seeing that her tent in zipped wide open and she's not in there. You start panicking and pull your boots on while Ashley crawls out of her tent "John, I'm sorry, I..." she begins but you cut her off "Jane's gone, I've got to find her!"

She looks at you "fuck, I'll help!" she yells. "no, you stay here, call me if she shows up, I'm gonna go find her!" you pretty much order. You run off into the forest yelling "Jane! Jane! Please, I'm sorry!" you yell. "Jane! where are you! please!" you desperately yell in no particular direction.

"Jane!" you start to get out of breath from the yelling until you suddenly spot something hanging from some thorn bush by the side of your eye. You jog over to what you saw and realize that it's part of her top, so she can't be that far yet, right?

You yell her name once again, continually running around between two shouts. You enter a small, grassy clearing. And fall down against a tree after shouting "Jane!" one more time. You begin sobbing, wait, no, that's not you, it's a woman sobbing "Jane, is that you?" You ask, adding a desperate "please?"

You hear some rustling in the bushes at the other side of the bush and finally you see Jane crawl out of the treeline. "master?" Jane asks in a questioning voice. "Jane, I'm sorry" is all you can say. Then you notice something. Jane's top is partly gone, only some rags remain, and there's blood on her leg.

"Jane, are you hurt?" you ask in a panicky voice. "It's nothing master" she says, bowing her head and looking at the ground. "I need to get you back to camp to take care of you" you tell her. "no" she says in a quiet, but certain voice. You look at her questioning "I don't want to see your lover master!" she yells suddenly.

"my lover?" you question. "Ashley!" Jane yells angrily "you took her, I was right, I'm not good enough, I never was, and I was stupid! I've never been good enough! for anyone!" she shouts. You try to come closer to her and she looks away scared "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry" you tell her

"I was drunk, and really fucking stupid, and she got me all turned on and I was stupid, I'm sorry!" you tell her. "And I hope you can forgive me someday, I don't deserve you Jane" you add. "You're... sorry?" she questions "yes, I fucked up, badly, I am so fucking sorry"

She hugs you, struggling with her bleeding leg "And I think Ashley feels bad too, if she doesn't, I promise you'll never have to see her again, but please, let me carry you to the camp so I can take care of your leg" you tell Jane. "thank you" she says.

You gently pick her up, bundling her in your arms, getting blood on your sleeve in the process. You slowly carry her to your camp "what were you going to do if I didn't find you?" you question. "I ... I though you didn't want me anymore, do you still want me?" she asks "yes Jane, I love you, Ashley was a mistake" you assure her.

"thank you, and what I was going to do? I don't know, probably die alone, since I thought the last person stopped caring about me" she says. You arrive to camp but don't see Ashley. You put Jane down on the table and grab a first aid kit and take care of her legs.
