She stood frozen in the hall, waiting for a reply. It came quickly.

A flurry of possible consequences flew through Maisie's mind, but she kept coming back to her reputation. She wasn't exactly leading lady material, and for better or worse she was still banking on the goodwill she'd made on Game of Thrones. She stole another glance at the clock. Six minutes.

Maisie glanced at herself in the mirror. She was going to have to make her decision fast if she wanted to do anything about her face and hair.
