Sabrina sends out her pokemon with no delay. “Kadabra, go! You know what to do!”

A yellow and brown pokemon appears in the enormous battlefield. It’s yellow and brown, has a big puffy tail, is holding a spoon, has a moustache, and… wow. You never thought about it before, but Kadabra is pretty weird looking! What animal is it based on anyway…?

Rather than worry about that, you should be focusing on the battle. You, uh, didn’t bother to figure out what type this Gym is. Oh well! Since you don’t know what type that thing is, you’ll go with your reliable, first pokemon.

“Go, Dugtrio!” Time to strike first and catch her off guard. “Dugtrio, use Magnitu-”

“Kadabra! Kadabra!”

Sabrina’s pokemon starts wobbling back and forth as if unable to keep its balance. Before Dugtrio even used Magnitude. After a few seconds of this, it collapses on the ground. The dark-haired Gym Leader doesn’t miss a beat, sending Kadabra back to its pokeball before rushing over to you, her eyes glowing red.

“Looks like you won, Emilia! Yay yay yay! Err, I mean, darn. I lost. This badge is all yours.” She presses the Marsh Badge into your hand. “Since you won, I have **** but to offer you a free trip to the Gym’s movie room, complete with drinks, snacks, and good company!”

“Well, uh, isn’t there usually a TM- I want to be friends with you, Sabrina. Let’s go watch a movie.” Huh? Where’d that come from? Why’d you say that?

“I want to be friends with you, too! Come on Emilia, let’s go!”

“Ahh! Uh, Dugtrio, return!” That’s all you can manage as Sabrina whisks you away to movie time.
