Alex has a thought. “What if we came in through the window of his bedroom? We could pose as window washers and lower ourselves into position. When K’han is alone, we go in and make the switch.”

Blunt and Jones exchange a look. “It could work,” admits Jones. “The timing would have to be just right, and there’s no guarantee that we’ll get him alone. He rarely has a bed to himself, but we can explore the possibilities.”

Alex considers it. If they can time it right, this would be the better option. There certainly would be fewer variables to take into account.
