You can't just leave your friend to the mercy of this evil corporation, so, with ****, you turn your eyes away from the parking lot.

Looking around the lobby, you know you need to find a way to the Research wing. Finally, you see it: to the right of the Human Resources desk is a map of the facility. Now, how to reach it?

It still seems as if no one is in the lobby aside from the staff member seated at the desk, when a security guard, listening to a radio, enters the front door.

SHIT! you think; you can't get over to the map or even leave the stairwell now.

But, then, the guard turns and moves toward the elevators. Uh oh. He must have been summoned by that evil bitch! Hearing the ding of the elevator door, you make a dash to the map and crouch out of view of the desk.

You spot the Research wing easily; it is the neighboring building.

Quickly and quietly, you slip out the side door and run across the open space.
