He was curious, sure. Where had this 'new' Mary Jane come from? Not only had she taken an interest in his spidering, but also science. She had asked him for a few books to get started, so he gave her some of his old entry-level college physics books.

Of course, Liv could breeze through this in her sleep. But, well, she still had to play the part for now. Mary Jane Watson couldn't gain a PhD overnight, after all. That didn't stop her from doing... other experiments.

While Peter was out during the day, Liv would retreat back to her lab. She needed to make a new suit for herself; one that fit this new body. Of course, she had picked up a few new ideas to implement thanks to her 'husband.' His mind is so fucking sexy... She would think to herself each time they talked. It's not that she was in love with him; no, it was more of a fangirl-esque adoration. He was both brains and brawn and he was all hers!

"He'll figure it out eventually," a voice cut through her train of thought. She rolled her eyes before setting them to see a caged and suit less 'Olivia.' Unfortunately, during the mind-transferrence, MJ's mind had been stored in Olivia's old body.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've taken precautions for brainwave scans and telepaths, among other things," Liv-MJ said as she turned her focus back to her new Octo-suit.

"No, not like that. He'll just know. We have that kind of a relationship. That kind of a bond," MJ-Olivia snapped back.

"Hm..." Liv-MJ tapped her foot for a second, almost considering it. "If he does notice something is off, he doesn't seem to mind. From the way he lights up when he talks to me to the way he fucks me, you'd be forgiven for assuming that he prefrs this version of you."

"You bitch!" MJ-Olivia shouted back; she was practically screaming. "You defiled our bedroom! Just know that he'll never love you. At the end of the day, everything he says and does to you? He's saying and doing to me. Not to 'Liv,' but to his wife."

Liv-MJ pondered for a moment before responding with a shrug. "It's just that sex. It feels good, but it's in pursuit of science. I don't care about love or romance or anything of the sort. If his focus is on you while we copulate, then so be it. My purpose is to examine and experience. You can keep your romance."
