Chapter 40 by N1ghtshade N1ghtshade

Where to next?

Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes

As they finished their shopping, Cassandra insisted that they visit Fred and George's joke shop. She had helped them start it up when She was Harry, and wanted to see it for herself.

"You want to see the Weasels' gimmick peddler?" Draco scoffed. "I couldn't care less for the owners or their wares"

"Come on, You've got to loosen up, have some fun, see something new." Cassandra nudged him. "You're the most tense person I've ever met." Cassandra wasn't even lying, despite his excellent acting, Draco was pale and rushing around.

"I need to go do some business next street over." Draco attempted to move away. "We'll meet up later."

Cassandra had to run to catch up, using all of her strength to pull him away. "And that is my point, come on, We'll go to your shop next, my turn." She dragged Him to their new destination.

Draco couldn't simply slip away, this New Girl might get onto his secret work. That being said, that stupid joke shop was the bane of his existence. He had been the unwitting test subject for too many of their products. He resigned Himself to hiding in a corner.

Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes was the spectacle Diagon Alley. A large, bright store front opening into a massive building teeming with wonder. As the pair walked up, Cassandra laughed at the poster advertising U-NO-POO. "That's brilliant!" She giggled to a chuckle in response.

As they entered the shop, Cassandra didn't even know where to start in the packed halls. The shelves were filled to the brim with all manner of magical items. The Skiving Snackboxes Cassandra had expected were supplemented with just about everything else. Draco tried to not pay attention to anything, Cassandra showing various items to him.

They slipped into the room labeled "Defense" to avoid the crowd. "Here's the stuff for you, Mr. Doom and Gloom." She playfully remarked, shocking herself with how easily she slipped into the role. Even Malfoy had to admit that this stuff was brilliant, deciding to purchase a shield charm and some instant darkness powder for Himself.

Cassandra slipped into the WonderWitchâ„¢ room as Malfoy waited in line for their purchases. She was embarrassed at her own curiosity. She quickly surveyed the display, and was about to leave when something caught her eye.

Witches' Magic: The Complete Guide was an incredibly practical guide written for Witches on a menagerie of subjects. Cooking, practical spells and enchantments, romance guides, beauty, and more .... intimate subjects. Cassandra was shocked that Fred and George even thought of this. She ashamedly added it to her items as they checked out.

It was dark when they got out.

"It's my turn now." Malfoy almost playfully stated.

Malfoy's Turn?
