John was undergoing Tests run by People he recognized as the Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado, and the Batman. He could see Superman in the Background with Aquaman and Captain Atom.

He was having a bit of fun with their Scans, giving conflicting scan reports, one minute he had Kryptonian Powers, the next Martian and Atlantean, of course there was the matter of his Scarab. He ultimately decided to leave.

He was stopped by Superman who tried to convince him to stay, but John said he needed to get back to Krypton to report to the Royal Family. That was when he ''Just''discovered the truth if what happened to krypton, he then asked permission to leave so thwt he could find a home.

The League Had ''Convinced'' him to join their New Covert Special Ops Team. He asked that he be allowed to establish himself as a hero before anything else. They agreed and gave him a good place to start.
