Warehouse

Vicki decided it was too risky to keep Bryan in her own home, so she drove instead to a lot near the outskirts of town. Suncrest Construction Company was building a warehouse here, and since it was not yet complete, Vicki judged it the perfect location for her plan to unfold- Isolated and not at all connected to the Daranta family.

Picking her way through the dirt and debris, Vicki walked slowly towards the warehouse, planning to scope it out.

She almost jumped out of her skin when she heard voices coming from around the corner. Quickly hiding behind a large crate, Vicki peeked around to see who approached. It was Junior Walker, the hunky blond businessman, discussing the specifications of the warehouse with Sam, a big, burly, manly construction foreman. Vicki deduced that Junior’s company must be commissioning Suncrest Construction to build the warehouse for them. This could be a problem, Vicki realized. Perhaps some of her womanly charm might convince Sam and Junior to stay away from the warehouse for awhile. Or, maybe she should just go back to Plan A, and keep Bryan in her own home.
