Wander over to the monument

You hurry over to the monument, making sure none of the infected see you cross the street. The roundabout is a sort of safe spot, surrounded on three sides by thick leafy hedges. The monument itself is about five-six meters tall, a type of new age modern design, and it looks like... Well, you're not sure what it looks like. A mix between a porcupine and a tree? It doesn't matter much right now. Theres a golden plaque attached to a stand at its base. It reads;

"Franz von Elmlich is a German born artist, sculpter, and scientist, born in 1976, moved to England in 1996 to study in Oxford University. His radical and groundbreaking work in robotics has earned him many awards. In 2013, he designed and dedicated this monument to his friend's passing, who was born in this area."
