Walk down to the houses

Well, even if there were pirates or marauders down there, it was still a lot better than what she could run into out in the night, Druuna decided and began to walk down the hill.

Still, it was with an uneasy feeling that Druuna approached the houses, and she knew too well that if somebody was watching out, they would have seen her a long time ago.

As she had crossed the open ground and reached the wall, she spotted a gate and walked to it.

It was made out of sturdy wood and reached at least two feet over Druuna?s head.

Before she had had a chance to call out for someone to come to the gate, Druuna heard a clicking sound from behind her, and then a male voice that ordered her to stand still.

Realising that a gun was most probably aimed at her, Druuna did as commanded.

?Good, now turn around?? Druuna did as she was told, which produced a ?Holy fuck!? from the man as he got a full-frontal view of her naked body.

The man holding a gun at Druuna looked to be around 30, roughly six feet tall with a wiry build, with greying black hair and beard. He was dressed in jeans, a shirt and a beige deerskin jacket, and was aiming a double-barrel shotgun at Druuna.

She could already see a bulge forming in his pants.

?Who the fuck are you!?? The man demanded to know.

?My name?s Druuna? I?m a simple traveller who lost all of my belongings today. I?m just looking for a place to spend the night.?

?Okay, move over and face the wall.? The man said, and again Druuna obeyed.

While she stood pressed against the adobe wall, she could hear him unlocking the gate and pushing it open.

?Now, step inside. Slowly!? The man ordered Druuna, holding his rifle aimed straight at her.

Druuna saw no other option than to do as she was told, and stepped inside the gate.
