Walk Niko home.

"Why don't I uh...walk you home?" you ask awkwardly. Niko hesitates, then nods gratefully. You fall in beside her as she begins to trudge slowly down the path away from your dorm. "Where are you living?"

"I am in Judith," she says softly.

"Judith Hall? I think I know that one. Not far, right?" She nods, and you nod, relieved. You walk in silence for another few moments, a couple of loud drunk girls passing you without a second glance.

After a few moments you clear your throat. "So, uh...what are you thinking about studying?" you ask, feeling the need to make conversation.

"I do not know. Maybe biology? I have always liked science..."

You nod. "That's fair. I'm not sure what I'm going to major in either." You walk in silence for another moment, then ask, "What made you want to come to school in the United States?"

"I always thought this was a very...interesting country," Niko says, sounding a little sad. "My parents, they did not like the idea so much. They are very religious, very...conservative. So they said if I wanted to go to a school in America, I had to go to a religious one." Her lip trembles slightly. "Now I worry it was a mistake..."

"Hey, no," you say, gently reaching out and putting a hand on her shoulder. She flinches slightly, but doesn't pull away, and meets your gaze after a moment. "I know today must have been awful. But if you hadn't come here, I wouldn't have met you and I'm really glad I did! I hope that you won't think everyone here is as awful as that Gregory asshole."

Niko sighs and shakes her head, smiling slightly. "No. I guess not." She glances away, at the building you've arrived at. "This is Judith. Thank you for walking me home, Luke."

"No problem."

She pauses. "Since you are my partner now, do you need my phone number?"

"Oh, uh..." You scratch your neck. "I mean, sure. If you're willing to give it to me. You don't have to, though."

She nods. "I would like to see you again. I am really grateful for your help." She takes your phone and puts her number in it before passing it back to you. "Ok. Text me so I have your number too. Thank you again, Luke."

"No problem, Niko," you say with a smile. "Good to meet you."

Niko nods and retreats back into her dorm. You wander back to your own and traipse upstairs to your bedroom, flopping down on the bed. {if Jenny > -1}After a few moments, you take out your phone and text Jenny.

Luke: Hey. Whatcha up to?

Jenny: Out.

Luke: Cool.

Luke: So weird story.

Luke: I have a second maid now.

Jenny: You fucking sicko.

Luke: No it's not like that!!

Luke: Her name's Niko, I just met her. Her guy was an asshole.

Jenny: ?

Luke: Her English isn't great, and he read the emails for her. Told her that she had to do what he said but didn't tell her she could leave.

Luke: I explained it to her and the she asked me to take her charm on the spot.

Luke: Yeah. Anyway. I just wanted to let you know in case we run into each other and you see I have two charms.{endif}
