Wakes up in Resort Room the Next Morning

She opened her eyes and immediately closed them again with a groan. The early morning sunlight shining through the bedroom window was too much for her eyes to handle. She laid there snuggled under the covers, thinking back to the events of last night. After considering the tempting thought of sleeping another hour before she had to meet up with the group, she pulled herself out of the bed and focused her attention on writing her article on the Temple.

Coffee. She always started an article the same way. Coffee was essential. A couple of sips. It cleanses the palate and lightens the mind. The story poured out of her.

She was all ready to post when her WIFI connection stopped. After fighting with the connection, she reluctantly calls the front desk.

The lady who answered apologized and said they would send someone right away.

Within minutes there was a knock on her door. To her surprise, it was The Concierge.

The Concierge greeted her with a bow. "I understand that there is an issue with your WIFI connection. I am here to assist."

"Ok." Miyuki said, "I didn't realize you also looked after the WIFI."

She held the door open and The Concierge wheeled in a chart.

"I have brought with me some fresh orange juice and brewed coffee if you would like. I also have some hot water and a selection of tea." He offered.

Surprised at the offer Miyuki said, "A cup of coffee would be good. Do you always bring beverages to fix IT issues?"

The Concierge smiled as he poured to coffee and offered her the cup and saucer. "I find if you are making a morning call to an issue that things go smoother if you can offer coffee. If you can show me the device and can take a look at it."

Miyuki showed him to her laptop and The Concierge sat down. "Did you take the Temple Tour last night?" he inquired as he worked on her laptop.

Miyuki smiled, "Yes. You have a good memory. It was an interesting tour. I have just written about it for my blog and wanted to post it when I encountered the WIFI issue."

"I see. If you like I could give you some contacts that would be interested in purchasing an article on the Temple Tour. Do you the exclusivity of the Resort and rare availability of the tour there are not many who are able to write professionally about it. I received several requests to allow reported access to the Resort solely to be able to take the Temple Tour. I also can provide the approved photos that the Temple allows to be posted of it." said The Concierge.

"That would be amazing," Miyuki said. "Why are you offering this?"

The Concierge looked up at her and smiled, "I am here to help ensure that our guests received everything that they would like during their stay. I thought it would be of interest. It would also be useful to me to pacify the news organizations' requests for access looking for a story."

"That sounds great then." Miyuki smiled not believing her luck.

The Concierge looked at his device and then looked back up. "I have been able to restore your WIFI." Taking a piece of paper from the side table he began to write a list, once it was complete he handed it to her. "Here is the list of individuals who have contacted me in the past year for an article on the Temple. They would likely also be interested in a follow-up article on the Resort. Please let me know who you would like to contact and I can set up an introduction."

Miyuki took the list and thanked The Concierge. "I will leave the beverage chart in your room if you like." The Concierge said with another bow and left.

Miyuki took another sip of coffee and savoured the flavour. The curiously she looked at the list. She almost drops her cup. The list was of the top new organizations and maganizes in the world.
