Waiting for Buckett

You and Michelle exit the bathroom, your arm resting above her shoulders. Both with smiles on your faces.

It’s corny, but you almost feel like humming some sappy love song. Almost.

You walk without words through the school building, outside, through the path with the dead grass and reach the gate. You don’t even need words.

As you hug Michelle, you feel her warmth pressing towards you. The winter air isn’t nearly enough to stop you from it.

The sky even seems welcoming in its single tone, with its rays of forgotten sunshine sneaking in to kiss your bodies. It’s strangely… Beautiful.

Buckett will be here any minute now.
