Wait just a bit longer

You're brought out of your almost meditative state of watching the waves crashing on the beach as someone taps on your shoulder. You spin around and see Samantha standing before you. Her long slightly curly red hair drapes over her shoulder. She's wearing a tightly fitted white t-shirt, her nipples easily found attempting to **** their way out. Her black shorts are tight upon her little waist revealing long tanned legs standing in short heeled sandals. She's got a huge smile on her face and those green eyes have the the brightest glisten. She's even more beautiful than you remember.

"HEY John! OH I'm so happy to see you!" She leaps forward grabbing you in a huge hug.

The aroma of citrus fills your nose as you are embraced in a truly loving hug. One that reminds you of the real friendship the two of you have and the comforts of home. She's someone you trust and everything just feels right around her. Oh how you've missed her as of late.

"My god, I've got so much to tell you. But first, let me get a drink." She looks to Bethany and holds up her first finger in the universal bar language of "One please" and looks back at you. "John Doe. You look good! You've still been working out and keeping those sexy muscles I see. Oh and that cute jaw of yours. I've missed that! I can't believe it's been, what... six months now?"

"Yeah, I think so" You reply.

"Well. So much can happen in such a short time." She turns back to the bar as Bethany brings over a tall glass full of some fruity concoction. "Thanks dear." She looks back at you leaning her head over the glass and puckering her lips to sip from the straw protruding from the drink.

"What brought you way out here?" You inquire, slightly distracted by the flood of images of her from past encounters. That night in the alleyway. Oh, that night was a fun one. A sudden course of tingles runs down your spine as you recall your chance tryst that evening. The flash of memories brings a big smile to your face.

"You're so cute." Samantha's giggle brings you back to the present. "Oh, I"m so glad you came." She reaches across and places a hand on your arm, "John, I've got some cool stuff to show and tell. You're coming with me to the lab tomorrow. Dr. Lybeck has been working on some really cool stuff and I really want you to see what new frontiers we're crossing. But until then, how have you been?"

The two of you catch up on your lives. Talks of work, and old friends ensue. You feel as if you had just seen her yesterday the way the two of you reconnect. And her sunny demeanor shines throughout the entire conversation. She asks about your romantic involvements and you let her know you're currently single but see a few girls here and there. She informs you of a few guys and girls (yes, you're reminded that she's been open about her sexuality for a while now) that she's seen but nothing serious has come of it. The hint of a coy smile shows through on her lips as she slowly runs her hand through her hair. And for the moment, that look is sheer sexiness.

The two of you carry on drinking the night away reminiscing about old times, all the while both of you continue to flirt back and forth, wondering nervously who is going to break that wall. But for some reason each of you stops just short of full on contact.

"You know, I've been doing a lot of growing here on my latest Mission. I think I've really found the inner possibilities I've been looking for. I really think you're gonna like what we have to show you." And with that, Samantha gets up. She tilts her head and winks, "Night Night John. I'll see you in the morning."
